You're not 25. Your training shouldn't be either — and it shouldn't be a guess.
Most trainers can't tell fatigue from injury risk. Most PT ends the day insurance clears you — right when you're ready to get strong again.
One system. Every decade of your active life.
Your body's priorities shift every decade — so your training should too. Every client moves through the same three phases, backed by one testing system.
Perform
40s – 50sFor clients still competing — golf, tennis, the boardroom. We catch power and asymmetry deficits before they become the injury that sidelines your season.
Sustain
60sThe decade strength quietly erodes if nothing steps in. We catch small declines in balance and power while they're still easy to reverse.
Preserve
70s – 80sFunction over ego: stairs, travel, grandkids, independence. Same testing, now focused on fall-risk and the benchmarks that keep you living life on your terms.
You don't graduate out of Kinetix as you age — you move through the continuum, with data showing exactly where you stand.
Don't just feel stronger. See it.
Every client is tested on VALD ForceDecks — the same force plates used with pro athletes — measuring reactive strength, power, and asymmetry against age-adjusted norms. We combine it into your Vitality Score: one number, exactly where you stand.
Retested every 8–12 weeks, so "progress" is never just a feeling — it's a number you can watch move.

Years.
That's not an accident. It's what happens when a Doctor of Physical Therapy treats your training as an ongoing relationship — retesting and evolving your plan as you move through every phase.
Hear it straight from a client.

Different lives. Same results.
When I broke my tibia and couldn't walk, David's house calls were life-changing. He guided my recovery with real skill and even more empathy — using integrative techniques like cupping and scar tissue work to get me back on my feet.Client since 2021
David is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and delivers a service that's as friendly as it is functional. He's custom-tuned my program to my goals and keeps challenging me in new ways so I never get bored.Client since 2022
I spent 15 years troubleshooting a nondescript groin injury — countless providers, two hip surgeries, no relief. After just two visits with Dr. David I felt real relief, and now I'm back to working out and playing with my kid.
Can't say enough great things about Doc. He's helped me rehab my knee and shoulder with a real scientific approach — the data shows exactly where you're at and how you're progressing, instead of just guessing.
David's testing equipment is perfect for next-level athletes. Even four hours away in San Luis Obispo, we stay in touch weekly and I come down monthly for sessions. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants high-level PT.

Answers before you book.
Do you accept insurance?
Kinetix Physio operates on a private-pay model rather than billing insurance. That means your care isn't capped by insurance-mandated visit limits — sessions continue as long as you and Dr. David determine there's more performance or longevity to build, not when a claims adjuster says stop.
How much does it cost?
Sessions run $150–$170 depending on frequency, starting at $680/month for once-weekly training and scaling to $1,800/month for three sessions a week. Every plan includes 45-minute, one-on-one sessions at your home or gym.
What areas do you serve?
We train clients in-home or at their preferred gym across Newport Beach and greater Orange County, CA.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. We train with the VOLTRA cable resistance system from Beyond Power, which provides up to 230 pounds of resistance across a variety of resistance modes. That gives us a full library of upper body, lower body, core, and balance exercises anywhere we train, so a home gym or equipment isn't required.
What is VALD ForceDecks testing, and why does it matter?
ForceDecks are the same dual force plates used by pro sports teams to measure jump height, reactive strength (RSI), and left-right asymmetry. We use them to replace guesswork with objective data on your strength, power, and injury risk.
Do I need to already be an athlete to train with you?
No. We work with two main groups: 40- to 50-something executives who want to keep performing at a high level, and 70- to 80-something retirees who want to preserve independence and reduce fall risk. Force-plate testing meets you at your current level and tracks progress from there.
How often will I be retested?
Most clients are retested on ForceDecks every 8 to 12 weeks so we can adjust your program based on objective changes in strength, power, and asymmetry — not guesswork.
You've got a lot of life left to live.
